Hello Everyone! My name is Daphne Voorhis. I am a biology major with minors in chemistry and general mathematics, going into my last semester here at Northern Illinois University (NIU). I have wanted to study abroad since I went to my first Study Abroad Fair my freshman year, and this summer it is finally happening! In one week, I will be leaving for Dublin, Ireland for the Exploring Ireland's Health Care Services study abroad program. We will be in Dublin for about 8 days, and the other 6 days will be spent in Galway. I am so excited about my trip, but I am also really nervous because this will be the first time I am leaving the country. I am most excited about all the different things that we have planned. We are going to be touring different hospitals and clinics, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Cliffs of Mohr, and the Aran Islands to name a few! I am most worried about the time difference and jet lag, but I am hoping that it won't even be a problem! Stay tuned for more up
